Needed a reasonably priced hotel following visit to see Liverpool play at Anfield. Staff very efficient even at 1:30 am by the time I arrived. Quiet hotel, bedroom very clean and reasonably modern. Breakfast very quick and efficient and good value. Cannot fault it. More

We stayed for one night and found it very comfortable. The rooms are clean, basic but very comfortable. It is quiet and we slept well. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, which was great after a tiring day. The Ship Inn is ok for a beer before going out to eat somewhere else. The breakfast, though, was very good. More
