Inna Samdra Beach Hotel. The hotel is old. The hotel is big. In the hotel, a reservation is still full. There are Nyai Loro Kidul, a special room for her. I look at the room in the visitor, and there is a person expecting an experience of mystical occurrences. In hope of it, there are many things visiting this hotel.... More

the premises was built back in the 60's. with the design by the first president of indonesia, soekarno, and the aid of architect from japan. while the hotel design was grand back in the days, the age cannot lie. deterioration of the rooms interior is obvious. but the amenities and facilities still boast the 4 star rate of the place.... Missed opportunity! While this hotel is part of a chain, which includes some nice looking properties in other indonesian locations, the Inna Samudra falls below the 4* standards of it's siblings. The reason - it appears not to have had any maintenance or re-fit since it's first build in the late 1960's. Having said that, it's a great location right... More

This Hotel although a little rough around the edges is really an unmissable expeiriance. Set right on the beach and fronted by a very large pool it was one of the first "international hotels built in Indonesia - and nothing seems to have changed since about 1967.
