We've just stayed at the Captains Lodge for a couple of nights. I can't stress enough how wonderful the hospitality was. Kathy is one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful, absolutely spotless. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed here on a cycling trip (Coast and Castles). Warm welcome, nothing too much trouble, lovely room with a stunning view, good shower, great breakfast, and an excellent recommendation for somewhere to have dinner. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one evening and stayed in a room with a four poster and very comfortable bed. The car parking is tight, but you then get to meet the dogs. I had a great time at the Captain's Lodge. The rooms are fantastic and perfectly clean, the location is brilliant, right at the seafront. Most of all, the owners are extremely friendly creating an atmosphere where it is a pleasure to spend a holiday.
