This is a "stately" house situated 45 minutes from Santiago. If you do not have a car it is virtually impossible to escape. If you wish to relax it is probably fine, but we wanted to see the local area. You can only walk for about 30 minutes before coming to barbed wire fences. We borrowed bikes, but again it... More

Amazingly gorgeous historical main house (with museum quality furniture) of the owner of Vina Santa Rita (winery) where the beyond the security gates there are beautiful grounds, pool, and other amenities are only available to the house guests and not the general public. Everything is at your "beck & call." For example, an employee will golf-cart drive you a spectacular... More
