Recently visited the star whilst visiting silverstone and was disappointed.Felt it was poor value for money and have had much better elsewhere locally.Service was slow and the food not very hot.Have stayed here in the past but don't think I'll be rushing back.

Really great lunch at The Star. Food was great and the welcome was warm. There was a roaring log fire and a very friendly dog (the staff did check that we did not mind the dog). The English cheeseboard was amazing. Well worth a visit!

Tonight i chose to eat duck for my main meal. This was so delicious, i would highly recommend it! Slightly salted skin with a lovely sweet sauce. We arrived late after a hard days shopping at Bicester Outlet. This wasn't the pub we thought we had booked into, our mistake, but it was fabulous.
