We confidently left Queenstown on the 2nd of January, heading for Duntroon, driving along McKenzie road. Though we were lost at first, as the GPS could not locate the exact position, we managed to find the place eventually, with a phone call to Cindy, the fantastic host of Dome Hills High Country Lodge.

The lodge has wonderful amenities and the fruit flowers and preserves were wonderful. The open fire added ambience. Lounged in the bath and listened to the birdsong. Walked and golfed, what a gem Tokorahi course is, slept like a log in 'marshmallow' bed, gorgeous!
