Just got back from a two night stay - the room was bright and airey and the new landlords were very welcoming. Enjoyed the wholesome home cooked food and would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for 2 nights in April 2012 with my partner and her parents. The pub is a traditional country pub, with a good range of draught beers and ciders, as well as delicious pub food. we stayed here for 2 nights during a trip to monkey world. everything was perfect nice clean room everything you needed, meals were fab staff were friendly and the locals were friendly too. breakfast was fab too plates were massive and there was cereal and toast too. will defo be back and would recommend this t anyone on a trip...

We stayed last weekend and had a blast.
The rooms are great, good size, great showers, with separate access to the pub.
Service, food and beer in the bar are all first rate, from dinner through to breakfast in the morning. there were 3 draft beers on tap and it was all a very good consistent quality.

We were staying close by in a local B&B, and this was the closest pub. The staff were very hospitable and very friendly. The food came in good time, it was delicious, food was well priced and the portion sizes were large. They had a good range of beers and ciders, thank you for a lovely meal!
