So we drove from Tel Aviv at sunset, got there very easily, it as dark and Shkedi was expecting us with a cup of tea :) Best welcome ever! We sat around the bonfire, chat with the other guests. The place is incredible, big tents and little luxury houses, common spotless bathrooms, and the quiteness of the desert. BBQ available... More

Here are two gates to our place - at one you leave the stress, at the other you leave haste. Here you feel another third dimension. I would highly recommend this place for its unique character, hospitable and relaxing staff, great value for money, good facilities, comfort and cleanness and help they offered. I was there on my own, got... More

Shkedi's is exactly what it says it is - half camp, half lodge. We stayed in one of the cabins, but most of the lodging is large permanent tents. That said, it wasn't anything like I expected. Honestly, it made me wish that we had more people (there were only 3 of us this time) to sit around the fire... More

A completely unexpected revelation south of the Dead Sea, the Camplodge was everything we wanted and more! It was incredibly clean in spite of being entirely outdoors and had a lot of desert character, right down to the soothing music playing throughout the grounds. The staff was so hospitable and all the amenities were there, right down to a charging... More

Shkedi's camplodge is a great place to stay, if you're NOT looking for a big 5 star hotel! As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted by Gil, the owner. Gil was the perfect host our whole stay! He made us feel so welcome and at home, that by just after 2 nights stay we were genuinely sad to... More

A wonderful location especially when you have your own transport. It is easy to go to Masada, Ein gedi, Ein bokek and the Dead sea. Very relaxing place to spend your evening. It is kind of a campsite.very friendly caretakers, spotless clean and fully equiped kitchen. Really recommended! More

Basically this place has it all - clean bathrooms, fans in the tents, wifi and a very nice owner. If you are looking for a place near the Dead Sea where you can chill out and decompress, Shkedi's is perfect. More

We travelled the world with our 5 children, and Shkedi's was by far the best place we stayed. We stayed for 7 days & we wished we had stayed longer. It was relaxing, it was comfortable and welcoming. Staff were so helpful, they told us great places to see. And Gil made the most awesome lemongrass tea for us. We... More
