The Resort is fantastic (just a little info - because the Resort is in the mountains it rains a lot and it is not shinny, but still very warm weather) - we stayed in a deluxe villa for three days and it was very nice. The staff is so friendly and very serviceminded. It wasn't fake kindness, they were really... More

Our stay here was the fourth of 5 stops in Indonesia in which our planning began with a week-long scuba booking at Wakatobi Dive Resort. In traveling that far around the world we decided to spend 6 nights in Bali before Wakatobi (in Sulawesi State) and another 6 nights back in Bali afterward. For reference, you may also see my... The Resort is a little far away to beach, but you will never care about it once you live in~it is like its slogan: hard to find , hard to leave~~the best villa in lovina~~ In the pool villa, you can see the sea next to the green forest from a high view~ The staff are very nice and polite... More

The only thing I regret is that we only stayed for one night. Location is breathtaking. Staff is so kind and serviceminded. Beautiful villas. Quiet and cozy pool area. Very very delicious food - superb restaurant. We would definitely like to return for a longer stay and gives The Damai our warmest recommandations.

Just spent three days at the Damai on the hillside in Lovina. Wonderful quiet relaxed place awesome views from the restaurant and pool, spacious rooms with lovely outdoor bathroom and jacuzi. Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food is excellent and while not cheap by Bali standards it is worth the extra as everything is fresh and... More

Of the many fine hotels we stayed at during our two week honeymoon across Bali, Damai was on a level of its own. Perched high in the jungle, this property is immaculately manicured, the staff is as friendly as they come, the villas are gorgeous and the food will make you not want to leave. We did a number of... For the next (early) morning an excursion at sea to the dolphins was organised and we saw many,... More

The Damai was our first place to stay in Bali after a long trip from Europe. Eventhough we knew, that the transfer from Denpasar to the hotel up in the north takes about 3 hours, we had the feeling that the car ride will never end. The driver was a person not employed by the hotel and eventough we told... More

The Damai is on a beautiful property near Lovina. My husband and I had the most amazing time. We stayed two days in the Una Naga room which is a two bedroom villa with a big pool overlooking a beautiful jungle looking area with a far off view of the ocean. While there I took a yoga lesson and my... More
