We spent three nights in Torre Laurentil in August - 2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 12. It was absolutely and I imagine one day it will be impossible to get a room here. Great personal but discreet service, beautifully renovated building, gorgeous rooms, lovely food. We stayed in the large suite which was incredible value for money. I... More

We stayed here for three nights for a family wedding in August. The place was fabulous, the setting is exceptional, Stefan and Christine and all the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They were so attentive to everybody who stayed, they couldn't do enough to help. The room in which we stayed was fabulous, also, like a suite.... More

We stayed three days in this hotel. It is beautiful, mice green garden, quiet and is has a very very nice owner. This prefect American speaking guy is absolutely a fantastic host. We did enjoy the simpel meals in the patio. The wine was great. The village is also remarkable clean and special. We higly recommend a stay here.

My fiance and I stayed at Torre Laurentii for three nights in July. The hotel is a beautifully renovated medieval stone building nestled within a small, welcoming medieval village. The village itself is in the foothills of the Pyrenees and is surrounded by forests; a great base for hiking or simply somewhere to rest and relax. The hotel provides lots... More

Hotel Torre Laurentii is located just about 2 hours north of Barcelona tucked in a valley in the Pyrenees Mountains. The entrance into the village of Sant Llorenc de la Muga was quite impressive with its fortified walls. Driving up to the hotel, I felt like I was traveling back through time. The co-owner Stephan (who runs the hotel along... More

Hotel Torre Laurentii was a perfect choice for our Easter holiday to Catalonia. My friend and I just spent two nights in this charming family-run hotel which is located in an authentic Spanish medieval town Sant Llorenç de la Muga. Hotel: We stayed in Grande Suite with a private terrace overlooking the village. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and... More

This delightfully renovated ancient hotel in a sleepy village made us welcome with delightful individual rooms, furnished with imagination and flair, delicious food and a friendly welcome. In late September the village was quiet and so pretty. Our host recommended a delightful walk to the river pool for swimming which was really special. The hotel is a few miles from... More

My wife and I just spent some days in Sant Llorenç de la Muga, a midevial small town of 80 inhabitants in Cataluña, not far from Girona and the French border. Side trips in and out from our town, either by foot hiking on generous trails in the immediate neighbourhood, or by car to Figueres (the Salvador Dali Museum is... More

We stayed three nights at the hotel and ate two dinners at the restaurant. Our room was impeccable and the food was excellent, with some of the produce coming from the owners' farm. On top of that, Stefan was the most gracious host, recommending hiking itineraries, other lunch spots and good wine from his cellar to go with our meals.... More

We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at Hotel Torre Laurentii. Having read the previous Tripadvisor reviews, we came with high expectations and we were not disappointed. Torre Laurentii is a beautifully restored house which stays true to its origins and the enchanting medieval setting of Sant Llorenc de la Muga. The hotel is well appointed and our room... More
