Reception staff extremely helpful. Not only in dealing with our daily requests but also advising us on the best trips & transport. Ate in the restaurant frequently. Food was always to a very good standard. Followed by many visits to the Yaya Bar. We were also in Railay when the Tsunami warning happened & this Hotel was where the evacuation... More

You have to walk a while, but the bungalows are just great, spacious and nice and middle of nature, so dont expect a Hilton or a Marriott here! I loved the view from the restaurant, and the service at the Front desk was just great. To bad i had to pay for my internet but who cares, I had some... More

We stayed for 4 nights and quite enjoyed it. The resort is inland a bit from the beach so more spacious and quieter than some others. It is built on a hillside so you get a nice breeze in the evening. You have to walk about 5 minutes to the east side bars and restaurants, which are funky and relaxed.... More

Really nice place and seems well run. Don't be put off by the location, it is less than 5 mins walk from east and less than 10 mins walk from west. Phone for a pick up off the boat though! Friendly staff, lovely spacious rooms, nice breakfast and slightly away from all of the tourist crowds down on the beaches.... More

Our first night at the hotel the manager made a mistake so we got upgraded to the VIP room. The next three nights she gave us a free upgrade to the deluxe bungalow. The room was very nice and had an amazing view of the cliffs. The breakfast was included which was very nice. We actually preferred the location of... More

We had the misfortune of staying here for 8 days, I wanted to write this review to warn others thinking of staying here. Up front I want to say that the workers here were awesome...extremely nice, especially in the lobby so this has nothing to do with them. We stayed in one of the air conditioned-hot water cottages, departed October... More

Involves a lot of uphill walking to reach, and a little farther from most things Railay has to offer but for the price features good rooms with cool balconies. Beds big and comfortable, BBC News on the TV but no wi-fi. Even though the building seems new, the bathrooms could still use renovations. I've stayed at the Yaya Resort on... More

This hotel is quite separated from the main road and beaches. Since you arrived on boat you have to walk a lot, and it´s a bit tiring, specially if you are carrying heavy bags :(. But you can call the hotel and they´ll pick you up by car! We discovered this once we were there. The rooms are clean, the... More

We stumbled upon Railay Phutawan Resort (formerly Phurit) online by accident, but price and photos convinced us to book. Although it's a bit of an uphill trek from Railay's East beach, the walk is definitely worth it! The restaurant overlooks the bay from between the limestone karsts and the whole resort nestles in a jungle edged valley. A/C rooms are... More
