The beach is very nice, but La Tortuga has a poor infrastructure. The rooms are very basic, modest, disappointing. If you are looking for some peace and tranquility directly on the beach then this is the ideal place, away from the crowds and noise of Montanita. Staff were friendly and welcoming and food/drink was great. Rooms were comfortable - particularly enjoyed chilling out in the hammocks provided for each chalet.
