Perfect for a stop over or a lovely weekend away. The pub serves great food and a very yummy breakfast. The rooms are to a high spec, with big comfy beds and biggest bath I have ever seen.

We can't believe it's been 2 years since our last stay at "The Brace", where does time go? Anyway, we returned for our 3rd stay in April & found that Phil & Carol are still doing all the right things but perhaps with a little bit more (much needed) help. Our hosts put us in our "usual" Skittle Alley Room...

We stayed for two nights, in room 5 above the pub. I would highly recommend it. The room had real wow factor - it was a good size and luxuriously furnished in a modern style, with an extremely comfortable four poster bed. As others have commented, the exterior of the pub could use some maintenance, but this didn't bother us....

Our stay at the brace of pheasants was lovely; a very comfy and large bed (we had one of the skittle alley rooms), an amazing bath and shower, and lovely food. What more could you want!

We found this great place with kgb deals and have already recommended it to others. Excellent bedrooms and bathrooms decorated to a unexpectedly high standard. Food excellent as were the staff. Would defintely stay there again. Good base for walking and exploring the Piddle valley.

We booked 2 rooms based on the Tripadvisor reviews for 1 night under the Winter Special deal of £139 per room DB & B and overall it was worth the money. We had a nice time and the food was good.
4 people with 2 of the cheesy bubbling mushrooms with garlic and bacon, 1 liver and bacon, 1 fish...
