We spent 4 days/3 nights over the New Year's and it was wonderful. Getting there was a bit difficult (ended up hiring a taxi at the airport- was about a 2-3 hour trip) but well worth it. We were the only non-native Spanish speaking guests there. It is where the Mexicans vacation. The beach was unspoiled and went for miles....
