Wonderful place, everything very well managed and just as wonderful as indicated by the pictures. Excellent food, and most important: a very warm welcome by the owner Elizabeth Goetzman who takes care of every detail, making sure guests are feeling at home from the moment they cross the doorstep. We spent a weekend at the ermitage at the end of April 2012 and the experience was superb in every respect. The hospitality was generous and warm, the food outstanding and the quality of the accommodation five star. We stayed one night in this charming inn after spending a week on a barge in Alsace. The host and hostess were so welcoming, charming and a delight. Elisabeth is the best host we have ever met, nothing was ever a problem or concern. She looked after every request we had, from booking our restaurant to handing over her own copies of road maps to assist with our onward journey. Her recommendations for village visits was spot on. L'Ermitage du Rebberg has to be the absolute best value... More
