Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated but very clean and comfortable. Its well located and in good reach of the centre, but go elsewhere for food. Try Baked and The Chocolate Cafe for great soups, cakes and coffee and Sakura for excellent Sushi - a 3 minute walk.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated but very clean. The Westmark has a really nice exercise room. It is well-situated with lots of great little shops and cafes nearby.

The Westmark has been a key spot in Whitehorse for many years. However it is starting to show it's age. The rooms are functional but can do with an updating. While it is centrally located downtown parking can be a challenge if the hotel is full. Still a good place to stay but there are a couple of other options... More

Great location for exploring downtown and riverside. Hotel is a little dated but clean and the staff are terrific - always friendly and helpful. The pub and restaurant provide heaping quantities of good food which is especially helpful in winter when you're fighting the cold.

I agree with many of the other reviewers. This property is dated and going downhill. On the plus side the staff are friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are very noisy, beds dicey, and bathrooms old. Wifi not free and is very slow when you do pay. Advice to others is to look elsewhere.

I would be indifferent to recommend! Average accomondations. Old rooms and furniture that would need a refresh. Very little choice in TV channels and poor quality picture. Interesting, there is a live cam of Main Street on channel 135. Kind of neat! Beds could be firmer. No issues with the WiFi. Staff helpful and friendly. Location is great. There is... More

I have stayed at the Westmark Whitehorse several times over the years. It continues to slide. The location is great -- right close to down town -- but this place rests on its laurels. The beds are uncomfortable, the decor dull and uninteresting, and the rooms in need of an upgrade. There are several better places in the town --... More

You have to pay for the wi fi and it doesn't work! The rest of the hotel is great but I will not stay here again, until the Internet service is improved. I stayed here 3 times so far, and each time it's the same thing. You pay for Internet, but it doesn't work. The restaurant is nice, people are... More

Ok, I didn't actually stay here. I had booked a room wrongly believing they had smoking rooms, but they do not. When I told them I REALLY wanted a smoking room, they took the time to call around to other hotels nearby and secured me one with a smoking room. There was nothing in it for them except to please... Not a fancy place, but that is not why you come to the Yukon in the first place. This hotel is in an excellent downtown location, walking distance to everything you need. The staff are super friendly and willing to trouble-shoot any little issues that come up.
