I am not sure if the construction that is underway includes updates to the rooms, but it needs to. My first room was dated, dark (four lamps) and the carpet stained. Both beds sagged, but only on the side closest to the lamps-maybe flipping the mattresses would be a good idea. The bed linens were clean as was the bathroom... More

Picked this room up on a Hotwire bid. The hotel lobby and restaurant are very nice, but the 6th floor room I received had an old bed, an old tv (with some channels fuzzy) and and old shower. However, everything was clean and staff were very pleasant. Also, the room had an Ethernet cable so Internet was fast. More

Thanks for your review! And we absolutely support your Tip as well. Our Guest Service Associates at the front desk do their best to upgrade when possible or upsell when necessary. Our Business Class King and Superior Queen rooms were renovated in November 2008 and compete head-to-head with similar room types in our downtown set of hotels. Notwithstanding being recently... We booked a prepaid 3-star "mystery hotel" from a popular travel website, and ended up with the Regina Inn Hotel. Prior to this experience, we had been pleased that our expectations, based on hotel ratings, were met or exceeded. This time, however, this 3-star rated hotel turned out to be far worse than expected. The lobby was respectable-looking but everything... More

I do thank you for taking the time to describe these aspects of your disappointing stay with us, but I also wish you had been able to stop at the front desk during your stay or to check out and tell us about your experience while still here - giving us the opportunity to address your concern. As noted, the... More

I stayed here one night last week on the 15th floor which is supposed to be business class. My room was large and clean. I am not sure what makes it business class as it was fine but nothing special. I think the Regina Inn was built in the 60's and is being renovated at this time. Over the years... More

Very thankful for the details in your review, which allow me to reply with some information. Our Business Class rooms compare to the Standard Queen as follows: King beds with pillow top mattress, triple sheeted duvet with 5 pillows, robe, 2 telephones (one is a speaker phone), complimentary bottled water and Starbucks coffee as well as upgraded bathroom amenities. I actually stayed just recently this weekend, overall the hotel was good, rooms were clean, by the looks of it the room we stayed had it's reno's done, being a good hotel it was nice, I would stay there, I did however have a couple of concerns, there was no pool, that was a let down, the people I was... Thank you! I certainly appreciate your review! Will take pleasure in sharing your comment about the Sunday Brunch Buffet being "do die for" with our Chef James. Updated note: all the balconies and installation of the garden doors have been completed, and that makes the Regina Inn the only hotel in Regina with balconies and the ability to step out... More

I've stayed at the Regina Inn twice now while travelling to Regina on business. This hotel is going through renovations. The first time was in one of the rooms that hadn't been renovated yet, and the visit resulted in my responding very unfavourably to a customer satisfaction review. Hotel management contacted me and offered a complimentary stay in one of... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days during the week. I was on the top floor in the smallest room in the back of the hall. It was right beside the fire escape. It can't have been busy so I don't know why the room was so small. The room was too hot for the middle of winter; the... More

Due to the SARM convention the week of March 10th to the 15th, indeed the hotel was absolutely full - being the host hotel for the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities. It is so great that you took the time to add your own review, which of course we hope will reassure others. Human nature seems to dictate that more often than not, we make an effort to record a negative experience and less so the positive ones. Thank You for your positive review! Kay Koot More

I stayed at the Regina Inn during the week for a work related training. They were undergoing renovations but this didn't cause me any problems. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking is tough downtown for any hotel so this was an issue for a lot of the people at the hotel who were there during the day... More

Wonderful reading your detailed review, especially given that you are clearly a frequent traveller! And you covered pretty well the services we provide, from downtown parking to the restaurant and our Starbucks counter and the rooms (including one thing we can claim makes us unique - the balconies). The Team looks forward to saying "Welcome Back" on your next visit... More
