Spent a week at Manoir, skiing nearby mountains with a large party. The inn is set in the most picturesque site possible; there's a huge frozen lake for skating (lanes are power cleaned each morning), a decent smallish ski mountain (Relais) across the road, with much larger and varied options within an hour's drive, the convenience of a supermarket down... Spent a saturday night in this hotel to rest by the lake and have a nice diner. Was positively impressed by the food and diner menu but definitely not by the hotel which can be better described as a middle rank quality motel than a 4 stars hotel. Very noisy, could not sleep until 3AM because of the nearby bedrooms... More

The story: We arrived at the hotel around midnight. Room 303. Grab stuff, including bikes, up to the room, and the key cards don't work. Certainly not a big issue; one common to hotels of all stars and strips. The front desk makes us new keys. Back up to the room, keys still don't work. At first they don't register... More

This hotel is situated near a beautiful and quiet lake. The exterior is wonderful, the gardens are great. The service is also superb, with very nice staff and good food. However, there are some weaknesses that should be addressed quickly by the management in my opinion. My room was very well situated, right in the middle of the hotel, with... More

Our trip was for a long weekend with two small children, the best part was the infrastructure of the hotel, very nice little beach with lots of activities, nice outdoor pool for kids, service and care by staff good - food was very average but the view from the hotel restaurant is great. The setting is amazing, restful weekend guaranteed! More

It says it was a 4 stars hotel. I would give it a three and a half star. But still a very good value. The view on the lake was great. The food was OK.. I love to go to Lac Beauport for outdoor activities and you are at only 20 minutes from Old Quebec city. So all things considered,... More

We stayed in a condo unit with our four children between Christmas and New Year's. What a fabulous holiday! Our accomodations were perfect for a family, with plenty of room and very comfortable and clean. The view was spectacular. We had a full kitchen, a big plus with young children. The pool was fine. The restaurant had a great view... More

Due to a mix up with a bus tour company, we were forced to spend the 2nd night of our trip at this hotel as opposed to the original plan of 2 nights at the Chateau Frotenac. Needless to say there was no comparison. The rooms at the St. Castin were old, painted dark brown to hide the sprinkler system... More

Spent one night as a couple on a romantic getaway. My wife enjoyed 1 1/2 hours at the spa, which according to her was fine but service was not great. Had a renovated room overlooking the lake. Room and bed were very comfortable but a bit dark View was nice but not grand as we were on the ground floor.... More

Only $218 Canadian per day (about $185 US) got the two of us a very nice room with a beautiful view, and a wonderful large American breakfast that stuck to your ribs until dinner. Very good service was the norm, however when the dining room was busy in the evening it took awhile to get a cocktail. A very pleasant... More
