Stayed just two nights here, but could have stayed longer. The room was very comfortable, ensuite was good. One of our pillows was very soft and luscious and the other was like a brick...but this is the only negative thing I can say about our stay. Close to a laundromat and loads of places to eat. Also close to the... More

Au Petiti Hotel is conveniently located in Vieux Quebec (inside the Walled City). It is off rue Saint- Louis. It is walking distance to many restaurants and historic sites - i.e. Parliament Hill, Plains of Abraham, and Faubourg-St.Jean We have stayed here twice this past year. The hotel was a private home at one time. We found the bathrooms to... More

This past summer my wife & I took the train from NYC to Montreal, stayed a few days & then took the Via Rail to Quebec City for a few days more. We pre-booked the Au Petit Hotel by phone as many higher priced hotels were already full. I spoke to Jonathan on the phone & was pleased at his... More

Two rooms across from this quaint hotel are wonderful. All new kitchen and bath. Not able to comment on the rooms inside, however, suspect it is the same with updates. A splendid fresh fruit breakast is very prompt delivered to your room. For the price I would highly endorse this hotel. Jonathan and his aunt very helpful with suggestions for... More

This hotel was OK. Not great, not terrible. If you need a cheap place to stay in 'old' Quebec, this is it. Great location. We parked the car and didn't have to touch it for three days as we were able to walk everywhere. We needed a room last minute during peak season and there were very slim pickings. The... More

A cheap place for a hotel within the walls. Easy to get to most things - Rue St-Jean and le Chateau Frontenac. Helpful service with good tips on where to go and what to see, would have missed the free Cirque du Soleil if it wasn't for their advice. Rooms are dated but have their own bathroom, the higher rooms... More

Given the price range, one should not expect 5 star everything. Having said that, I have stayed at higher rated hotels/ b & b's which this places easily beats for service, facilities, and location. I note the earlier bad reviews, and can report that most of the issues have been addressed. The overly high expectations of some travellers cannot be... More

We were looking for a place to stay within the old city walls of Quebec City for a reasonable price. Luckily, we found Au Petit Hotel and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The price for the room was very inexpensive. The room was simple, but we had our own bathroom and found everything to be very clean. The... More

Very clean, comfy bed, friendly helpful staff. Perfect location - hotel is located in the heart of old Quebec City close to many restaurants. Access to microwave and kettle.
