We stayed at Marc & Marie's for two weeks of carnival in a chilly Quebec February. Location is great; a quiet neighbourhood just a few blocks from a main bus line which takes you to old town or to Laval U within minutes. The room was clean and quiet with the added bonus of a large shared kitchen & living... More

I stayed at this B&B Oct 10 and 11. For someone in the hospitality industry the owner was most unwelcoming. He asked me if I spoke French and when I said no, he seemed upset and couldn't understand why someone who didn't speak French would come to French Speaking Quebec. The room was small - the bathroom very small and... More

We stayed in Room 3 for 3 nights. It consisted of a nice size bedroom, a sitting room with a microwave and refrigerator, and a nice size bathroom with a VERY small shower (though it does have a standard soaking tub). Everything was very clean. Marc was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area - his restaurant suggestions were great.... More

From the moment of our arrival, we felt as though we were not particularly welcome: the host was annoyed that we rang the doorbell twice and then told us to wipe our feet. No hello, no welcome--just wipe your feet. I don't know where those 21 people stayed who gave this place 5 stars, because it certainly could not have... More

We were happy with out stay here and I have to say that Marc was extremely flexible and helpful when we had to change our plans twice. This was a huge plus. We also thought the room 3 was a great space -- I wish we had taken advantage of the jacuzzi tub and the kitchenette. It would be a... More

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the experience we had at Acacia. Having not ever been to Quebec City previously we relied on Marc's recommendations and direction to begin our exploration of this beautiful city. He couldn't have been a more masterful host and his recommendations where spot on as well as his breakfasts. When we come back... More

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in Quebec City. It is located in a good neighbourhood, not too far from the city centre. There are frequent buses to the city centre which leave from a stop just around the corner from Acacias. There are also some nice cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance. Our host, Marc, was... More

The hosts of this B&B know what they're doing! It's a quality set-up: clean, bright, spacious and convenient; This place exudes pride of ownership. Our host Marc was welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast. I would highly recommend this as 'THE' place to stay in Quebec City.

As some friends visited me in QUebec city they really enjoyed their stay at Acacias. Everything was excellent. The host (and owner I think) was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and fresh, the room big and clean and only a few minutes from the old city. I visited them there a few times and I would recommend this place... More

This B&B has a bright, spacious, warm and contemporary feel. The 3 things I liked most: 1) all guests can use the fully-equipped communal kitchen & fridge. 2) Our "bedroom" (room #3, see pics) was amazing - a big bathroom, bedroom, and a sitting area with kitchenette. It felt really private; like having our own space. I highly recommend getting... More
