Room was as basic as you can get, yes it had a small fridge in it but had to unplug it at night to be able to sleep, it was the loudest fridge i've ever heard! Thin, unmatched and stained towels. Paper thin walls, hard beds, and minimal amenities. The living room and microwave area were cramped because of piles of... More

Because of health issues, I contacted various places to see if they had pillow top mattresses or at least feather/fiber toppers. Daniel at Felix replied that although they didn't have either, a trick that he has used, is to put two duvets under the sheets. Though I lost a few hours from doing anything, I had a "GREAT" sleep. It's... More

The price and location of this downtown small friendly hotel was perfect for my partner and I. It is located in the heart of the village one block from Le Drugstore, Tim Hortons is next door, and a Starbucks, Java U a 24-hour dépanneur and the metro station are directly across the street. The street is laced with restaurants of... More

I was part of the group from the comments made under "From Great to Now Horrible" (Please Read). After traveling for nearly 6.5 hours arriving in Montreal to find that 3 out of the 5 rooms reserved by former co-owner (Jacques) had been re-booked was not only shocking but inexcusable. The mere fact that we did not call or email... More

I've stayed in this lovely B & B since the very first week they opened. I knew the former co-owner Jacques. Jacques made certain that all details were looked after 100% of the time, while making you feel as comfortable as possible. I've never stayed anywhere more pleasant. Then, in June shortly after making my reservations in person with Jacques, for 5... More

The hotel is in the middle of the gay village. The price is due to the place and not because of the service. The breakfast is very basic french not to say poor and does not fit in the price. Very friendly staff. Wifi is in place and working. We love to sit in the sunny terace for having breakfast.... More

I have been traveling to the gay village for five years with my partner and our usual B&B Belles Vues recently closed and we needed a new place to stay. For several years we heard about Hotel Felix and decided to stay there to find our new home away from home! The website does not at all depict this hotel... More

The staff at this hotel are EXTREMELY accomodating and helpful. I have no complaints whatsoever with the service. They basically served my breakfast for me, carried my luggage up and down the flights of stairs, upgraded me to a jacuzzi tub room for free, etc. They were extremely attentive to every need/want. NO COMPLAINTS on the service end. The bed... More
