We arrived at the Bonaparte fresh from the ship at 9am expecting to be told that they would store our luggage while the room was prepared. The room was ready! Sophie took us under her wing. She provided us with maps for our walk in the Old Town, made reservations for a city tour, asked our preferences for breakfast in... More

We wanted a smaller hotel, centrally located in Old Montreal, and Auberge Bonaparte certainly met that criteria. The cooked to order breakfast every morning was excellent with impeccable service. The bonuses were the beautiful, spacious room overlooking a cobblestone street and the warm and helpful staff -- Michael and Anne-Sophie helped with dining recommendations, tour info and even tickets to... Wife and a I stayed here for 4 days on a short vacation. The hotel staff was really friendly and the rooms were priced just right for what you get. Nice clean rooms. Trip advisor has this hotel listed as number 1 for romantic, but I would say number one for bargain and friendly, but wouldn't say number for romantic.... More

The Auberge Bonaparte in Old Montreal is indeed very centrally located, it was great to see the yard of the Cathedrale from our hotel window. The building is elegant, with a European feel. The staff at the reception and the restaurant was very courteous and helpful. Our room on the third floor could have been more comfortable. It was very... More

Centrally located in Old Montreal, walking distance to downtown and Metro stations. Large room with jetted tub. Our room has a nice view of Notre Dame Basilica. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can really get into the past history of this old timer if you want to......the past. More

We stayed 2 nights in Montreal, one night in Downtown Montreal and one night in Old Montreal. The Hotel Bonaparte was an amazing hotel, I e-mailed them about 3 weeks before our arrival about an upgrade which we recieved, a room with a large balcony over looking Notre Dam Catherdal. A side note the bathroom was impeccibly clean. Also, we... More

We wanted to be in Old Montreal and the Bonaparte is one of the few available - it didn't disappoint as many of the smaller museums are in walking distance and the Rue St Paul is just a few steps away with its restaurants, bars and shops and the Centaur Theatre next door but one. The Place des Armes Metro... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. In a time where everyone is trying to get more and more money out of you it was nice to stay as a hotel that still treats you well. Complementary bottled water doesn't sounds like a big deal but other hotels we stayed at during our trip had water in the room for... More

I was so glad to have chosen the Auberge Bonaparte. We stayed 4 nights in the room with the wonderful balcony and found the accommodations, service and location all great. The hotel was very willing to store our bicycles (highly recommend bringing these with you if you can) in the basement and bring them up each morning on the elevator.... More
