I'm not very experienced in reviewing B&B because I've only stayed in a few in my life and I choose them because of the price. We booked the hotel via Priceline. Room: Our room (no. 2) was simple and cozy and had everything we needed to stay for one night: a bed. We actually had a nice view of the... More

My wife and I knew this was a budget hotel, and knew it was going to be a shared bathroom. Nothing prepared us though for what was to happen. The room was booked with Expedia a few months before the holiday. Upon arrival it all went a bit wrong. There was a bit of a language barrier. I speak English... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights during Easter day. The service was good, nice, the location is good. We thought we chose a great hotel. BUT...Bad things happen few days after we got back home. They have bed bugs in their rooms and they followed us back home. Now we have BIG TROUBLE...I will never go back there... More

The hotel is cheap and in a pretty good location but beware of some things. The washrooms are all shared and in the hall ways. The one I used didn't have a working light in it. We got two single beds but one of them had some brown stains on it as if someone had spilled something on it. The... More

The Hotel Stay Mont Royal actually doesn't look like a hotel, it is the 2nd level of a quite old house with a 24h open salad bar under the rooms. The prices are quite interesting, but I would suggest this hotel only to people who are doing backpacking. For young people who want to visit the city of Montreal it's... More

I should begin by saying that we stayed at this place because of the price and location. We only needed the bare minimum - a place to shower and sleep while we attended a festival in Montreal. If you are looking for a top luxury place, don't go here. Since our plane came in early (around 8am) we wanted an... More

What you see is what you get: A small, family-run, European-style hotel. Perfect for travelers who'll be spending most of their trip enjoying a great city and don't want to spend much money on accommodations when all they need is a safe and clean place to crash. Located above a 24-hour cafe and steps away from the Mont Royal metro... More

Rooms small and filthy and not cleaned once during our stay of 7 days. Towels changed once in two. Trash emptied irregularly. The bed is too small not the only man who cleans the hotel. The mattress is backache. Breakfast with croissants and disgusting industrial cookies in a kitchen consisting of a small table and three chairs. No juice, no... More

I sent in my reservation to the hotel using their website reservation form. I immediately received an email that I would hear back from them within 24 hours to confirm my reservation. 4 days later I hadn't heard anything (I cut them some slack since I emailed them over Easter weekend) so I emailed them again asking about my reservation.... My partner chose this hotel for our trip to Montreal for Jazz Fest 2009. The location was great, just next to Rue St. Denis, where there are a ton of cafes, restaurants and shops. Directly adjacent to the metro stop Mont Royal. The staff was very nice, but not full of information (or at least not able to communicate it... More
