We often visit family in Laval and Montreal and we've stayed a few times at Le St-Martin. Each time we were very pleased with our stay. Room well decorated, beds are comfortable and breakfast (included) is a nice bonus. Staff is always very friendly. Government of Canada rate is also very advantageous.

Was there for a business training seminar for 3 days in November 2011. Did not stay at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the accommodations for sleeping, but I can say that I was quite impressed with the conference room set up and general overall quality of the site.

wife and I stayed one night while visiting friends. Excellent property, very new and well cared for. Very helpful staff too. The room was big, well furnished and very comfortable. The bed was nice and we slept well. Recommended

We stayed on the third floor. Our room was a nice size, with high ceilings that actually cathedraled near the window. Free Wifi was great, as were the very heavy duvets on the beds (available for sale, but more than I wanted to spend).

Hotel was very clean, very attentive staff. Easy access to downtown Montreal via the Metro which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We went up for the Canadian Grand Prix and quite a few fans were staying at the hotel as well. A recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Try to avoid room 131 on the ground floor if you are a light sleeper. The piano is close by and is very audible and there is an external air conditioning unit just outside the bedroom window that whistles. We pointed this out to recepion when we left so maybe fixed by now.

We were so looking forward to our stay after viewing the hotel's web site. It is a very beautiful hotel however it turned into a nightmare.
