We had visited Judy and Trevor one time before in our visit to P.E.I. It had been in November in 2004. The quality, the atmosphere and the hospitality is ever constant. Here is this place, where the experience of community is the focus, the accent is the late 19th century look. Green Gables could offer no more. Yet hidden in... More

Myself and my partner turned up without having booked and were warmly welcomed by Judy and Trevor. They provided us with a really comfortable, well equipped room, provided extensive advice on where to eat and shared their wealth of information about PEI with us. It was also great to see some fellow British people making a success in Canada, I... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Judy and Trevor are outstanding hosts. The room was very comfortable and the meals were excellent! We stayed at the inn during William and Kate's visit to Charlottetown and because of the great location we were able to easily walk down to Province House to see them! We spent two weeks in... More

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at this gorgeous B&B. The room was large and lovely with everything we could want/need. The convenient central location allowed us to park our vehicle for both days and walk all around the old part of Charlottetown and enjoy all the sights. We've travelled across Canada and Europe and I can say that... More

We had a great six-day stay at the Shipwright Inn in Old Charlottetown. Our suite was comfortable and complete (The Crow's Nest), and the breakfasts were amazing. Judy and Trevor, and their entire staff, are very welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated their guidance regarding what to see and where to eat. Our trip to The PEI National Park at... More

What a treat it was! Judy and Trevor were wonderful hosts - serving afternoon tea as well a sumptuous breakfast. The Shipwright Inn is a gorgeous old home of a ship captain on the edge of old historic Charlottestown. The home is decorated to reflect the times of the 1850's. More

the microwave re-heated breakfast was a real disappointment. That corner cutting really hurt the value and took away from an otherwise nice B & B. Will definitely try a different one next time. More

It is always very disappointing as Innkeepers to receive a review which implies that one of guests this year was not satisfied. Our breakfasts during the season, prepared by our Red Seal chef, have been the highlight for many, as indicated by our numerous other reviews. We use local products where ever possible and items are cooked to order. Records... More

My partner and another couple have just spent 5 weeks traveling through Canada and northern USA. We stayed in a variety of accommodations but we rate this as the best. It was hard to make this call because most were very good, but what tipped the scales for them was the food. 1st rate breakfasts and scrumptious afternoon teas. More

We recently spent time at the Shipwright Inn. Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The room was spacious and tastefully done and breakfast was special and wonderfully presented each morning. A great way to start the day. There were so many personal touches and Judy and Trevor made us feel as we were special friends. We also valued the central... More

Well, I can sum this experience up in three words. Simply the Best!!!!! We were a party of seven, done everything over a phone and email. Arrived 3 hours early and they welcomed us with open arms. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and even put up with us being late for the best homemade breakfest served. Located in the central part of... More
