I stayed here recently for a conference. Room has antique furniture in keeping with the historical building. Usually wireless in places like this are slow but this one was surprisingly fast. We stayed here because the hotel we had booked lost our reservations and recommended the Rodd. I'm glad they did. They had a fruit basket at the desk that was empty the whole time we were there, but it has a nice quiet atmosphere and is near a beautiful park. This is a gem of a hotel in the old tradition. Beautiful building and well located. It is somewhat outdated but the services are good and the price which is very reasonable reflects the age o f the property. It was built as one of the great railway hotels and remains the best deal in Charlottetown. More

This hotel should be avoided at all costs! To cover up who knows what, the rooms are heavily sprayed with perfumes/chemicals.
