Bedrooms were cozy, clean, & comfortable. The B&B owner was very accommodating and hospitable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I booked this palce for my family because it was close adn covnenient to where I live. I was extremely disappointed. The rooms were dark and dank and horribly dirty. I could not believe how dirty the kitchen in the basement was where they have only a continental breakfast that is self serve. For what they charged, they really should...

The house is in a great location and really nice and quaint. You really feel at home. The only thing we didn't like is that we stayed in the white room, which has its own bathroom (yah!) and the furnace is off of this room. The first night we were so tired it didn't bother us but the second night...

Really nice place - retains a lot of the building's original charm while integrating modern conveniences. Both the host and his assistant are incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent location as well. You're only two blocks from the Yonge-University subway line, plus you're within walking distance of the gay village, Yonge-Dundas Square and even Chinatown (if you're feeling active). The breakfast...

What a great place this is. House on McGill makes you feel you have your own home in Toronto. It looks beautiful, it's clean, and a great price for what you get. Dave is your friendly host who supplies you with endless supplies of jelly beans when necessary. Thanks for everything Dave!

I stayed in House on McGill for 4 days in August 2011 and can really recommend it. It has lovely, well-kept and clean rooms. It is fairly central, close to public transport and in a quiet side street. It is a tall building, so one has to go up and down all the time, and some rooms have to share...

Breakfast has 5 different cereals, 4 types of bread, bagels, 4 to 5 differnt fruit juices, variety of real fruit, variety of muffins, cakes, strudel, coffe tea hot chocolate, etc, etc, You definitely will...

I have stayed at Dave's house several times now, and plan on staying the remainder of my school year. As an out of town grad student this home is a perfect location for me, and provides a relaxing, cozy, quiet atmosphere to study and rest. This B and B has everything you need, and Dave is very helpful to provide...

We took two different rooms, both very clean and cozy. Dave is a very attentive person and Jessie is great company for cat lovers like me.
The breakfast was very complete, suitable for all tastes, and having wifi, coffee, the fridge and microwave available at any time is quite convenient. The kitchen and hall are also very nice places to...

I have stayed at the House on McGill twice now and both times have been thoroughly enjoyable. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and the rooms have large clean beds. Breakfast is included in the very affordable rooms and the kitchen is always stocked with an assortment of breakfast foods. Great way to escape the expense of big city hotels.
