Last year when I stayed at the Chelsea I was in a room that had not be renovated. I didn't think the un-renovated room was so bad until we were sitting on the balcony and could see in to the renovated rooms. Over the weekend we had a few minor 'service' issues. Rooms that have not been renovated yet are in poor, tired shape (the mattress and linens were nice, however). Very much a dissapointment. Otherwise the hotel is ok; the adult pool area is nice, and the location can't be beat. 7/10

Close to Young street and stores. Busy. Rooms are a little small. Restaurant is practical but very expensive and food mediocre. Do take the extra time to find a restaurant out of the hotel.
