I stayed for one night and I have reserved a cocktail room (MacDonald) for an business event. I had an excellent service from everyone. The room was really well dress and organized, the personnel was very kind and the appetizers were good.

We had a 2 queen size bed room and it was a clean and calm atmosphere. They have all the basic needs, nothing fancy. I would recommend it if you plan on spending most of the time out and just coming in for a place to rest your weary feet.

We stayed in a room with 2 Queen-sized beds on the 11th floor. The room itself was big enough but not too well lit. The location and the price were perfect which was also why we picked this hotel. We didn't have breakfast there.

Essentially there is nothing that wrong with the hotel, its just not good enough to have a rating above average from me. Nice hotel. Located close to Parliament Hill and Ottawa's CBD. A bit of a hike to the Market or Elgin St for more restaurants/bars, but if you know Ottawa, there are plenty of good choices within a few blocks. No mini fridge in the rooms is my only real complaint.
