Can't think of enough to say about our stay at Copper Lane. Our host, Maddie is such a gracious lady. We were made to feel at home right from the get go. Our room, The Vanilla Bean was large, with a REALLY comfortable bed and a nice sitting area. Our ensuite bath was modern with every amenity. Maddie's 3 course... More

It's a real pleasure and honour when someone considers ours their "home away from home". Coming from a large family myself, I love opening our home to others, love the chats when the guests want them and sharing the history of this lovely home and beautiful town with them as well. We so look forward to seeing you both again!... More

Being that this was my first time at a B&B I must say it was an excellent experience. Hosts were wonderful and helpful. Beautiful home and eye catching decor. Perfectly situated right behind the Main street. So getting food, drinks & medicine is just a stone throw away. Can't wait for our next trip to Copper Lane Bed & Breakfast. More

We just returned from an evening at the Copper Lane Bed and Breakfast. We stayed an evening in the "cocoa bean" room. It is important to note that the 3pc bath is private, not ensuite. There is nothing the owner can do because the house is from the 19th Century. The beds were soft and comfortable, although I do enjoy... More

Perfect! What a wonderful home and the hosts match! Beautifully decorated, very cozy. The house is in a great location, just a stone's throw from the main street, the Angel Inn and Harp Pub. My wife and I spent our first Valentine's as newlyweds and will likely make this an annual tradition. Thanks Maddie for your gracious hospitality. Andrew &... More

We just got married and decided to take a mini-moon to Niagara-on-the-Lake (we were moving out of the country the next month, so not much time for a full-blown honeymoon!). This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we absolutely loved it! Maddy was very helpful in terms of suggestions for restaurants, wineries and activities, and she makes AMAZING... More

Great to hear from you! So glad you enjoyed your "mini-moon" with us, nice to have even a short time away to unwind. Besides, moving to another country could be considered a honeymoon in itself! Hope all your plans worked out well and you are enjoying your new life and new careers together! Next time you're back in Ontario, come... More

We were with Pam and Stacey (review below, November 11-13) and could not agree more. This is an annual event for 6 of us (3 couples, long time friends) and Maddie could not have been a more accommodating hostess. Our room, Nutmeg, was huge and the bathroom was a real treat. Maddie provided coffee, tea, juice, pop and water along... More

You were a wonderful group! Hope the Strata worked out for your company last weekend, wondering if you went for the Ham, cheese & onion, or the vegetarian option....either way, hope you enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing you all next year, or any of you at anytime throughout the year. If you need any more recipies, you know where... More

I am delinquent in submitting my review of this wonderful B&B. Went for a girls' getaway the first weekend in October. I had the Vanilla Bean room on the first floor and my friend had the Cocoa Bean room on the second floor. Both were delightful, cozy and beautifully furnished. The location is perfect, just steps away from the Courthouse... More

I greatly appreciate reviews done at anytime, we've had some a year after the visit! Glad you both had a great time here at Copper Lane. We did choose this location partly due to its fantastic location so I'm glad you liked that aspect and all the little extras we provide. Hopefully by the time you visit I'll have many... More

November 11/13 2011 weekend at Copper Lane could not have been more perfect. Copper Lane is a georgous B&B with beautifully appointed rooms with mix of modern and old world charm. Our hostess was charming, attentive and most accomodating. Thank you Maddie for such a pleasent experience. A must for next year! Pam and Stacey More

We visited Niagara on the Lake, Ontario Canada this past weekend and stayed at this most wonderful B&B. Our host , Maddie, is definitely in the right business. Not only was she gracious, informative, personable, helpful and genuinely sweet, she is an awesome cook. Our breakfast both mornings were creative and delicious. If you plan to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake, in our opinion (my wife and I) Copper Lane B&B on Johnson Street is the place to stay. Their tagline, “…where elegance and history meet…”, epitomizes the experience of staying there. The house -- originally built in 1871 -- has been beautifully restored combining tasteful period décor with modern amenities, including air conditioning. I... More
