They play on the novelty of staying on an old ice breaker. Well what they don't do is mention the fact that this vessel is very run down, dirty in parts and exceptionally noisy! I must say that the staff I met were very friendly and helpful but the accommodation itself was just not up to scratch. Like other reviewers...

Cabin 1, the First Officer’s, is on the officer’s deck (up two steep flights of steps – interesting with a 22kg suitcase !). This is one of the biggest cabins, and contained a double bed, desk, chest of drawers, seating area with table, and wash basin with non-potable water. Two opening windows with fly screens kept the bugs at bay....

No problems on our trip here. The staff must have sprayed for bugs since reading the last review. Make sure there is a screen on your room's window before opening, as this is a lake with mosquitos galore. This was a hot weekend in June but the ship was cool with a fine breeze if you stayed on the side...

the boat is more than old. At first sight, it looked us like a great fun to sleep in a boat, even if a litle bit old... but we had an horrible night.
