Quiet, botique hotel. Nice location in downtown Halifax. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Restaurant is great. There is some parking available. Overall very nice atmosphere. Close to many places you might wish to walk to.

We stayed for a few days in early October, and found it a great location. It is close to the historic waterfront, and only a couple of blocks from our favourite brew pub: Henry House. The staff were really helpful, breakfast was good, the room was spacious, and the well-restored building has a wonderful old-fashioned appeal.
