We have stayed at the Halliburton three times and will definitely return. We love the personal touch and friendliness exuded by the staff. They were excellent, professional, and saw to our every need. The rooms were large, beautiful, and spotless with comfortable beds. The Halliburton is in a perfect location, situated downtown within a short walk to everything. We recommend... More

This is a lovely, boutique hotel located in downtown Halifax. I spent 3 nights there. I found the rooms to be beautiful, well appointed, spotless and the beds very comfy. The high thread count sheets were wonderful. I experienced a problem with noise carryover from a bar behind the hotel on my first night and when I mentioned it the... More

I travel extensively throughout North America on business. I can sincerely say that the customized service and top rate staff make The Halliburton among my favourite accommodations. The central location, and comfortable well appointed rooms, make this a perfect choice for business and personal travel. The smaller, more personal, and more intimate nature of The Halliburton is a welcome change... More

My husband and I loved our stay at the Halliburton, but I would advise potential guests to be fully aware of the nature of the hotel. It is more like an urban inn, comprising three houses. But the three are not connected. We had beautiful weather, so going from one "house" to the next for our morning coffee was not... More

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are pleased you enjoyed the experience we offer. For clarification, we believe that the layout of our historic townhouses and beautiful staircases, are part of what makes us so unique. Please also understand that during our quieter months, our front desk staff serve as our porters. They love to help with... More

My husband and I spent three nights in one of the Hallburton buildings. The room is probably due for a renovation, but the furniture was well cared for and the room spacious. Our only real complaint was that the room was too hot at night, but this was easily remedied by opening the window. Their continental breakfast (included in the... More

The Halliburton is a beautiful inn made up of three neighbouring historic homes with large, tastefully decorated rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is ideally located in downtown Halifax, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. In addition the hotel's restaurant- Stories- is exceptional with a focus on local/seasonal food- everything was delicious! They also... More

My fiance and I stayed at the Halliburton for three nights in June. Compared to the other inns and B&Bs we stayed at on our trip the Halliburton was the most expensive and least impressive, but I suppose you should expect to pay more to stay in downtown Halifax than in the smaller towns on the east coast. While there... More

This has been my favorite place to stay in Halifax. I have stayed here since they opened over 20 years ago, always for business. Here is what I found most attractive about The Halliburton - free parking, free continental breakfast and easy access (if you request the right room) to your car and the street. Note, the breakfast is always... More

Just a short stroll to the waterfront and in a central location this Hotel is ideal for the tourist who wants a comfortable base at a reasonable price to explore the city. The continental breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful to particular needs. Having a free car park on site was a bonus. We did not book... More
