Our room was two single beds. It is a dorm so it is what is. If you want to see what your kid has to live in at a residence then you should stay here. Bathroom is shared with other rooms. Its a long hike to walk from parking lot to the room, the good thing is its all indoors.... More

Looked all over Halifax for a decent downtown hotel that wasn't 200 a night. Couldn't find one, so ended up here. Great location in South Halifax, in a mature neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk to Spring Garden Street, half hour to the water. Check in staff was great. I spent 2 of my 4 years as a Loyola resident while attending SMU from 1981-1985. Yes the apartments had the bare necessities in furniture, but the idea is to make it home for the duration. i wouldn't trade my time at SMU for anythign- best years of my life :-) Rachel (Ivarsson-Klein) Starbuck
