This B&B is great in all respects. The accommodations are excellent with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was great with freshly cooked items (eggs, pancakes, bacon/sausage). The staff was great and more than willing help in any way. We completely enjoyed everything about the 2 nights we spent there. This B&B was chosen for its location at the homeplace of... More

Lovely little B & B, spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a good choice of cereals, fruit juices, cooked options and muffins or pancakes. It is in a good position for trails and we spent a couple of very enjoyable evenings at The Red Shoe Cafe which is only a short walk away. More

Our stay was prompted by a family event and we were able to book 4 rooms for 2 nights. Everything was quite attractive, and worked well. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Two of them were river facing and they were large and the most attractive. mine faced the road, but really never noticed a thing, and i am a sensitive... More

All I can say is 'WOW"! Bar none the best place we stayed on our trip around Nova Scotia. The room was nicely decorated. We loved the attention to detail in the Inn. Very clean and the innkeepers went out of their way to help with anything we needed. The staff was a joy in the morning at breakfast. Which... More

My husband and I recently spent a night here on route to Ingonish. The room was tidy and as expected for a small town B&B (a little dated but ok.) Steven and Bonnie were both very friendly and welcoming. The room was facing the road, and it was quite noisy, which was surprising given how remote the area seemed to... More

We checked in to room #5 and couldn't have been happier! Felt like we had the place to ourselves with a great private deck overlooking the nicest little river and beautiful view of a church. After drinks on our deck we tore ourselves away to walk to The Red Shoe Pub For Dinner and entertainment (highly reommended).Came back by 9... More

The setting for this inn is very pleasant. The innkeepers are quite welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and had a wonderful view. We both slept very well and had a delicious breakfast that came with a stay at the inn. Great place to stay! More

We stayed at Duncreigan as we wanted to experience the Ceilidh Trail at Mabou. The inn far exceeded our expectations. The welcome was warm, and the home-cooked breakfast was one of the best of our holiday. Our room was large, and shared a great view of Mabou Church across the river with the main building. Mabou lived up to expections... More

We loved this place -- we were lucky to arrive before the crowds of tourists, so we had the fortune to stay another night in this gorgeous location. I will agree that a downside is that the riverside view is shielded by the trees, but in a way, that is kind of a nice problem to have! We loved the... More
