I'd give the hotel 3-1/2 stars if I could, but not 4. It's clean, comfy and run fairly well but as others have noted it's a bit dated and there's little things wrong with the rooms that you wouldn't expect when paying almost $200 a night.

The Crowne Plaza here has clearly been around a long time, and is a bit tired around the edges.
However, overall it still provides a lovely place to stay, right on the river, with large comfortable rooms (bathrooms are tiny though), excellent staff and decent restaurants.

Stayed here one night for business. Great location. Tiny rooms for a rate that is higher then other nicer Crowne Plazas. Moncton is a better value. It was snowing when I was there and they were making no effort to keep the tiny parking lot clean. By morning I had to help two other guests shovel themselves out then myself....

Anyone that has ever traveled to Frederiction will know that it is a quaint city with lots history and charming accommodation.
