As long as you're going for a cliff top or cliff edge (no services), it's unbelievable. The views are breathtaking, the campground staff are friendly. May 2-4 weekend was very quiet, I had no neighbors, I highly recommended. Careful with children's!

We obviously did not do our homework and review this campground properly before booking. We have a large rv and need the "luxuries" an average campsite provides. So we asked for full-hookups and wifi (hey, it was available, why not). So we were situated in a great area, a large open field at the entrance to the campground, an area... More

We visited Grand Manan as part of our first trip to Eastern Canada. We drove from Ontario in 2 days with our children (ages 6 & 8) and a simpler version of our regular car camping gear. The campground was easy to find from the ferry. We were greeted at the entrance and after a simple and smooth check in... More

My husband and I traveled from Ontario to visit the island and were not disappointed! We stayed in a cliff top site and spent the first evening listening to the whales breach just below us. We then had a brilliant light show from lightening and were whisked into dreamland with the sound of the foghorn ... well maybe not whisked.... More

We stayed for 4 nights at a cliff edge site and did not want to leave. I have been in many campgrounds but never in a site like this, we spent much time watching the seals clean out the fishing weirs 100 ft. below us. The campground is 300 acres with numerous hiking trails and habitat--you could have a whole... More

My friends and I went on a 2 day camping trip to Grand Manan and had a wonderful time. We had a cliff side camping site in the Hole-in-the-Wall campground. The views are breathtaking. Some friends of mine had suggested this place for a quick getaway. They had stayed at this campground during the end of July or beginning of... More

This campground is not advertised well but was one of our best campsites ever! Ask for a Cliffs Edge site and you'll be overlooking 200 ft cliffs with a 180 degree view of the Bay of Fundy. Portable toilets near the sites are well maintained, and at the entrance there are showers ($2CSD) and a kitchen that all visitors can... More
