This appears to be an old hotel 60s or ealry 70s that has been slightly refurbished. The location is about a 8min walk from Polo Park mall. I will say there are quite a few chain restaurants nearby and an A&W just across the road. This hotel was probably nice in its day but has been overtaken by multiple highways... More

I returned to this hotel in May 2012 for a club event lasting three days. The hotel has had a face lift in the public areas since my last visit in 2009. I like the improvement. The front desk staff, bar staff and restuarant staff were friendly to very friendly. My wife and I found the food to be very... More

We stayed here for a educational course for four nights. The room was clean which surprised me since it is sort of a dump. The cleaning staff obviously is good. But it is next to a noisy freeway and a lot of people seem to come into town to party... so our neighbors were noisy too. The manager was grumpy... More

Front desk including manager needs to smile a bit. It helps guest feel more welcome. Rooms very average for the price I payed. Wish the housekeeper that cleaned my room took time to clean my bathroom properly. I didn't complain to front desk cause I'm too tired from working all day and I have a flight to catch early next... This was my first time at this hotel. The room was clean and certainly adequate. We had a ground floor room with an outside door which was very convenient, however, the key to outside door was old metal type, which could easily have been copied. There were 2 bags of garbage in hallway outside our room which never were picked... More

I was in Winnipeg on the occasion of a family gathering and stayed at this hotel. I arrived, unpacked and left for the family gathering - returning later in the evening and went to bed - tired from travel and outing. In the morning, to my horror, I saw a huge blood stain on the sheets as well as the... More

We hadn't been at this hotel for a few years. Apparently this hotel was renovated a couple of years ago, with a new foyer, dining room, and wing of rooms; and it is all non-smoking. Our room was clean, roomy, well furnished and stocked. The staff were friendly and efficient; we used the free shuttle to the airport. Only downside... More

The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful. The hotel is pet friendly. Stayed in a convenient room on the ground floor. Can be quite loud because located in busy area. Clean, comfy king sized bed. Only downfall was the restaurant. I ordered a chicken caesar salad which was quite pricey. The chicken was precooked and barely warmed, probably microwaved.... More

Have stayed here over the years with family and ourselves. We like the location, as it is one block from Olive Garden and Red Lobster, and another block to the Polo Park Mall, and a bit further to the movie theatre, along with several other restaurants in close vicinity. Like it as it is privately owned and they try hard.... More

Stayed at this hotel late November 2011. The hotel presented well when you enter. Spacious lobby, clean and quick service checking in. The room was average and could have been cleaned better. Room service dirty plates were left out in the hallway for the better part of 24 hours. The restaurant (breakfast) was fine. Good service - bacon and eggs... More
