We stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful B&B. Karen was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was varied to perfection. The house has been beautifully renovated and is in a great neighbourhood close to beach walks, transport and restaurants. We easily caught the bus downtown and to the University of British Columbia. Karen was always happy to assist with sightseeing... More

We stayed at the Corkscrew for 4 nights in March 2012. We found the entire experience lovely. From delicious and interesting breakfasts to clean and inviting rooms, this bnb has it all. An interesting collection of corkscrews and pretty stained glass windows add to the ambiance. This beautifully restored home will invite you in and once you meet Karen the... More

Beautiful clean room and bath. Great neighbourhood. Our room had an odor of sewage, which was probably a temporary problem. We arrived very late and were unable to attend the 30 minute breakfast window due to obvious health problems due to cancer treatment. It would have been nice to be offered a breakfast tray, "brown bag" to go, or even... More

I appreciate your complimentary comments on our house and neighbourhood. Our proximity to parks and beaches makes skunk sightings (and smellings) common. You are not the first visitors to mistake the odour of a skunk for something even less pleasant. Our goal is for everyone’s visit to be perfect. Given advance notice of special requirements, we do all we can... More

We stayed at Corkscrew Inn some days at the end of June 2011. We had definite expectations about Corkscrew Inn, for we had read all the raving reviews prior to make a decision. But we found a place which was beyond expectations. First of all, Karen is such a wonderful, courteous, gentle-mannered, friendly innkeeper. Her breakfasts are exquisite, and even... More

We stayed at the inn for 4 nights, early December. Our daughter had found it for us as it was in walking distance from her. The inn is very interesting, with all the corkscrews and amazing stained glass windows. Breakfast was delightful every morning. Karen and Wayne made our stay very comfortable. Will be back, on our next visit for... More

We spent a wonderful night at the Corkscrew Inn. Beautiful, warm, inviting and immaculate. Wayne is a welcoming host and prepares a delicious breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed including thick plush towels and nice bedding. They even had an armoire in the hall equipped with all kinds of toiletries and supplies for guests... More

I was in Vancouver for a conference at UBC and stayed at the Corkscrew Inn for 3 nights. It was charming, comfortable, friendly, and the restoration of the home was truly impressive. My room was a good size, fully equipped with everything I could possibly need; the common areas were welcoming. Great breakfast and courteous staff. Perfect location: close to... More

Corkscrew Inn live up to its 5 Star rating all the way. The owner, Wayne, is a great host. He makes you feel welcome, truly open the house to his guests. The inn is kept immaculately clean, decorated with class and elegance. We have travelled all over Europe and Canada, this inn is a 10. We are very glad that... More

We had a fabulous stay at the Corkscrew Inn, everything was spot on. Great location with good places to eat, excelent range of shops and pleasant walks all on the doorstep as well as being within easy striking distance of the downtown and central attractions. The B&B itself is beautifully presented, very welcoming and serves a great breakfast. What really... More
