If you are reading this review and hope it will have you to decide whether to stay at this place, first you have to determine what you are after at Red Mountain and what is important to you. Luxury accommodation it is not! However, if you need a place to stay close to the slopes, and if you want it... More

I've stayed at this inn with my family on several occasions. Primarily this place is a ski lodge at Red Mountain during the winter months, but in the summer it is a quiet and relaxing home away from home. The staff is friendly and the inn is very cozy. It is pet and kid friendly which was a real bonus... More

My husband and I stayed here on July 13th. We may have been the only ones there, as it was quite empty. I was a little hesitant about staying here because of the trouble I had when booking. I had filled out a booking request on their website. I received a quick reply telling me I had to give a... More

I was greeted with genuine warmth-it was like stepping into someone's home, cozy, log fire burning, simple, stylish elegance, the owner sat with us & spent over an hour explaining the local area, places to go, see, etc. The following morning, the cooked breakfast was exactly what was needed for a long day of skiing, fresh cooked oatmeal, eggs, pancakes,... Just spent part of the first week of February at the Ram's Head and loved it. The hospitality shown by the hosts was great. As soon as we arrived Sven started a roaring fire in the main room of the lodge for us to enjoy after a long day of skiing, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink... More

Had an excellent stay here when visiting Red Mountain. Everyone at the inn were extremely friendly and helpful to ensure we had a great stay. The breakfast each morning was extraordinary! Location is a very short walk to the lifts and close to some very good restaurants. Would highly recommend the inn. More

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The huge king size bed was amazing and the teak tub was so relaxing after a day on the steep slopes of Red Mt.. The breakfast was great and so was the price ($5). Food choices in town and around the mountain are limited and... More

Having reserved a room last fall after having read varied comments about the place, we were pleasently surprised about the friendly and professional welcome and the great breakfast. I stayed there three years ago and found some nice improvement, especially the dining room. Hope that the new owners Mara, Sven and Martin will further improve it without increasing the price.... My husband and I booked here for valentines weekend. We prefer a cozy inn to a fancy hotel so we were excited about our stay. When we arrived we were really pleased with the location (you can see the lifts) as well as the style of the Inn. It was rustic and warm. The gal that greeted us was exceedingly... More

After reading mixed reviews, I was a bit concerned, but my experience at the Inn was just awesome. Not sure about the staff problems reported, since we found them to be nothing but welcoming and very helpful. Part of the fun of ski vacations is the discussions of the days runs and sharing the excitement of new snow with strangers... More
