Stayed one nite march 31 2012. Got there early that morning and we were allowed to park in lot even though check in at 3:00. Got to leave vehicle there on day 2 as we went cat skiing and they were expecting a big party. Didn't eat breakfast because we had to leave early but it looked good. Owners were... More

If you are looking for a brand new luxury place to stay this is not it. But if you are looking for warm, homey and comfortable then this is the place. Simple room, great cheap breakfast, nice hot tub and sauna. Close to the mountain and half the price. Everyone was so nice as well. Actually everyone we ran into... More

The Ram's Head Inn is a charming quaint place conveniently located at the base of Red Mountain. However, the place in need of serious TLC! With many months of advance reservation, three of us arrived in the early evening (early March 2012) to cat ski for two days (not consecutive) and also make turns at either Red or Whitewater. Keys... I have stayed at this inn annually, along with other members of my son's boarding team for the past three years. The service has always been above and beyond, and the facilities have suited the families very well. The drying room in the lowest level also includes a pool table and large screen tv with Wii for the kids. The... More

Our family (Grandparents, parents and 2 kids under 6) stayed over the family day long weekend. Having spent lots of time at Red Mountain and in other accomodation, we were thoroughly disappointed. We rented a two bedroom with kitchenette. While there was plenty of room to sleep, there was not a sense of care put into our place. There were... More

If you are reading this review and hope it will have you to decide whether to stay at this place, first you have to determine what you are after at Red Mountain and what is important to you. Luxury accommodation it is not! However, if you need a place to stay close to the slopes, and if you want it... More

I've stayed at this inn with my family on several occasions. Primarily this place is a ski lodge at Red Mountain during the winter months, but in the summer it is a quiet and relaxing home away from home. The staff is friendly and the inn is very cozy. It is pet and kid friendly which was a real bonus... More

My husband and I stayed here on July 13th. We may have been the only ones there, as it was quite empty. I was a little hesitant about staying here because of the trouble I had when booking. I had filled out a booking request on their website. I received a quick reply telling me I had to give a... More

I was greeted with genuine warmth-it was like stepping into someone's home, cozy, log fire burning, simple, stylish elegance, the owner sat with us & spent over an hour explaining the local area, places to go, see, etc. The following morning, the cooked breakfast was exactly what was needed for a long day of skiing, fresh cooked oatmeal, eggs, pancakes,... Just spent part of the first week of February at the Ram's Head and loved it. The hospitality shown by the hosts was great. As soon as we arrived Sven started a roaring fire in the main room of the lodge for us to enjoy after a long day of skiing, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink... More
