My guy and I stayed here for 3 nights while we skied Red Mountain. We got to meet the whole family, all who were extremely accommodating and friendly! Even the donkeys! haha Our room was a very nice big size, we had an on suite bathroom which was perfect! Loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Hope... More

We had a very memorable stay! There was lots of snow so we borrowed some snowshoes and set off from right out their back door. So convenient and beautiful! We also snowshoed and cross country skied to a lodge with the Red Barn owners and another couple staying at the same time as us. It was awesome seeing the stars... More

This is a great location for both summer and winter visits to Rossland. It's a short drive to Red Mountain, an easy walk into town, and has trails at its doorstep! Our room was clean and comfortable. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds.
