We stayed here unfortunately for one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Greg and Tauna are terrific hosts. I appreciate all the fine details of this home. The furniture and choice of colors are lovely. From the linens to the bath towels, all were top rate. The location is in a residential section but close enough to all the attractions... More

We just returned from a five night stay at the Black Bear Inn. The house is a ten minute walk to the main street and a 5 minute drive to the hill. The common areas (dining room, living room) are very tastefully appointed with lots of books, magazines and big comfy couches. Tauna served us a yummy hot breakfast each... More

Fantastic place to stay, would recommend everyone to stay there. Beautifully renovated on interesting historic site. Fantastic rooms and gorgeous living/sitting area. Breakfast was delicious and Greg & Tauna made guests feel so comfortable, welcome and looked after! Absolutely loved it! More

Staying at Black Bear for five nights was certainly the highlight of my ski trip to Red Mountain and Rossland. I didn't make it to the border crossing until 10:45 p.m. and the attendant kept me almost forty minutes, but I called Greg to let him know I was on my way and he was very gracious about my late... This beautiful historic home provided a quiet and relaxing start to our Canadian trip. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Great hospitality and a delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed walking around Rossland, which is an interesting little town. More

Had a recent week long stay at the Black Bear for a ski improvement camp at Red Mountain, and we cannot speak highly enough about the place. Great rooms with extremely comfortable beds, freshly cooked and very yummy breakfasts and very warm welcome from Greg and Tauna. I could go on and on about the heritage listed house and decor;... We only stayed one night but had the place to ourselves. We reserved the Grand Room because it was a little larger and had its own bathroom. The other rooms share a bathroom down the hall. The big four posted bed was very comfortable and along with the quietness, lent for an excellent sleep. All rooms were tastefully decorated and... More

We stayed here for the first couple of nights of our honeymoon; it was a great find. The B&B was comfy and inviting, the breakfast was delicious and simple and the activities around Rossland are great. We'd definitely go back. More

This is a very nice B&B owned by warm, experienced professionals. The B&B on the outside did not initially look like it was going to live up to the pictures but it certainly does. The very nice room and huge bath was extravagantly large. Our hosts served generous, caring breakfasts, nice conversations, helpful restaurant directions and even phoned several mechanics... More
