A short cab red from the airport bus stop (another adventure all together) to a lovely house overlooking the ocean. We were greeted at the door by Janess. Warm, welcoming and available when she is needed and absolutely invisible when she is not. Perfect! A warm and delicious breakfast awaited on our first morning and a breakfast to go was... More

We had a very large room with an upscale bathroom with tub and shower. The continental-style breakfasts were also very good. The location is close to the ferry terminal and served by city bus. We were surprised to see a deer in a corner of the back yard, perhaps it was hiding.

Stayed there last week for a few days. Very nice room, super bathroom. Janess is a great host and cooks up mouth watering pastries for your morning breakfast. No disappointments here. Book with confidence.

After taking the Alaska ferry from Juneau for 2 days we needed a place to stay for 3 nights until the ViaRail left for Jasper. We picked the right spot, The Tides B&B. PR is not a great place to visit but Janess provides a beautiful home with a great view of the harbor. As she only has 1 booking... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights after a rail trip on the Skeena and prior to boarding the ferry to Port Hardy. Janess has only one booking at a time, you have the entire upstairs of her lovely house while breakfasts are waiting for you downstairs. Fresh baked goods in the oven and fresh coffee, juice, and... Janess only has one guest at a time, you have the whole of the upstairs of her lovely house. Great views over the ocean, stunning sunsets,we were lucky with the weather! and a lovely 30 minute walk into town along the water's edge. Home-baked pastries every day for breakfast, a great start to the day. Janess was very friendly and... More

We visited Prince Rupert in October last year and chose The Tides B&B both based on Tripadvisor reviews and on the basis that the the B&B has just one room offering a degree of privacy. We were due to stay two nights in Rupert but were delayed arriving by 24 hours due to adverse weather. The owner, Janess, was really... More

We truly enjoyed our stay. We found our host friendly, extremely laid back and she basically gave us the run of the place. We spent our day exploring the local sites and retired to a lovely room with a huge bathroom, jetted tub and dual shower. There was a window in the room that opened completely and gave a full... Stayed here for two nights after the long ferry ride from Port Hardy. The accommodation was simply amazing, taking up the entire 2nd floor of the home, with a spotlessly clean (and huge) bathroom complete with walk-in shower and large jacuzzi tub. Great location just a few minutes from the ferry landing and only a 5 minute drive into the... More

This is an excellent bed & breakfast and possibly among the most top-quality accommodations in Prince Rupert (there are not many) in one of the best neighborhoods. You will have the entire upstairs (large bedroom with feather bed cover and pillows, large windows overlooking the harbor, very large bathroom with shower and tub, and small office space with free Internet...
