An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally clean, wonderful gardens, within walking distance of the town centre and very comfortable. Our only regret is that we did not stay an extra night. Having breakfast delivered to our room was an extra special treat. We would return to Chemainus just so we could stay in "A Cottage and A Castle" again.... More

Harriet is a personable woman whose home and surroundings are so lovely that it is hard to believe it is so close to town! A really unique bed and breakfast. We had a relaxing vacation and it was so nice being in the castle because it was a separate building from the main house.Definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

We literally stumbled upon this B&B, called the owners and yes, it wasn't booked. We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay immensely.
