Last month we traveled through West Canada and vistited some B%B 's. The Bear's Den is tops. Home away from home. To enter this cossy, fully equiped and clean(!) B&B after a day long hicking through beautifull Jasper National Park makes you feel blessed. Be good to yourself. Visit!

We have recently enjoyed a week at the bears den, great location within Japser for the skiing in marmot basin about 20km away. The property itself was spotlessly clean, well equiped and comfortable for a party of 4. Gerry was always on hand if we required anything and had plently of local knowledge to help us during our stay.

My wife and I used the Bear's Den as a base for a Xmas ski vacation with our son and his girlfriend. The Den was private, both for us as a group and as couples. Others have extolled its virtues, we could not agree more ....... However, when travelling, people make the difference and the owner's, Lydia and Gerry, made...

This was our first trip to Jasper. The Bear's Den is walking distance from the downtown restaurants and shopping. The B&B is very well decorated and very clean. Plenty of room for all our hiking gear too. The owners were on vacation themselves during our visit and the caretaker, Val was the most helpful person we ran into on our...

We stayed in the Whistler Suite for 3 nights in November. The house is right by the main streets in Jasper, next to the trails leading up to the mountains, and a short walk to the train station.
The suite was an entire basement suite with a kitchen (full-sized, stocked with all usual appliances, and common ingredients), washer/dryer (and laundry...

My husband and I stayed in the Bear's Den room for 4 nights in mid-September. This B&B's location is just perfect. It's just a few minutes walk into the town of Jasper. We had breakfast at the Bear's Paw twice and then had full breakfasts the other 2 days at a restaurant that I can't remember the name of. But...

My wife & I stayed in the Whistler Suite for 3 nights in September. Located just a couple of minutes walk from the main street of Jasper, Connaught Drive.
You have your own separate self contained apartment complete with full kitchen and laundry facilities located below the main house at basement level with its' own front door. Plenty of natural...

We spent three nights in the Whistler Suite of the Bear's Den in mid-September. We can highly recommend all aspects of the accommodations.
Gerry & Lydia are great hosts who are very familiar with the area. They were most accommodating when our plans changed.
The suite was clean, well-kept, and the unexpected perks (e.g. - frig stocked with soft drinks...

We visited Jasper in June with 4 friends. Two couples stayed at the Bear's Den and the other couple stayed next door at Shawnee's Place. Both B&Bs were excellent and the location was perfect for us. We certainly couldn't fault the Bear's Den - it was immaculate and the furniture and amenities including the fully equipped kitchen were first class....
