We stayed in this basement accommodation with family and friends. We were a little timid about staying here given that it seemed like a bed and breakfast-- minus the breakfast and that they only accept cash and travellers cheques. This was a very reasonable, quiet, comfortable accommodation option while travelling with 2 children. The owners are very friendly and helpful and their basement apartment was a cost effective, comfortable space while travelling with 2 children. Jasper only has a few hotels, and they're expensive -- but it does have a lot of "accommodations", which are essentially rooms for rent in people's homes. Some are more like a B&B, but Roony's is a bit more basic. For $75 you get a bedroom in a basement, complete with a comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, and tv. My room... More

I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and was a bit skeptical, however, Dealing with Mona on the phone and booking the room made me feel more confident in booking at a b&b.
