Overall this hotel was 'OK' - but the staff just can't cope with simple requests. My wife uses a wheelchair but can cope with moving around a 'normal' room - so we ensured with our travel agent that we would have a 'normal' room ie not an accessible room - But we did ask for a walk in shower -... we decided to stay here because it is aways from the main drag, friendly staff, ya you could here people coming and going but you hear that in every hotel, we had 2 double beds which were very hard, tiny fridge for drinks and no microwave, needs some updating, lots of room they could put 2 queen beds and a... I found Chateau Jasper to be a very comfortable and quiet place stay. The room was large and comfortable, the bed was easy to sleep in, sheet smell fresh and clean and bathroom was cleaned. The tub could be deeper though. It got a nice place to eat and overall, I was quite pleased. The Internet service was pretty good... More

Jasper is in a naturally beautiful area, but doesn't have a lot of first rate hotels. The Chateau Jasper offers large comfortable rooms and a passable restaurant, but is rather dated and not particularly close to the downtown tourist area. It is either about a 25 minute walk or a $7 taxi ride. The only fancier hotel, the Fairmont Jasper,... More

This is a tidy and well-maintained facility. Service is very good. What is missing is a contemporary look to the decor. It has the appearance of a place frozen in time, circa 60's-70's, but so does Jasper itself. This has a certain appeal with its slower pace. The rooms are quite large; the baths are not. If you want a... More

If you are looking for a comfortable and clean hotel for a reasonable price - this is it. It is an older hotel but it is clean and has nice big rooms. It is also within walking distance to the main street and shops. Perfect for a family ski trip or a weekend of biking or hiking. We have stayed... More

Very nice hotel stayed here with my parents on the way to see my relatives. First opinion oh the hotel was very friendly staff and very clean, but very outdated but I would say one of nicest hotels in town, And the underground parking was a plus. More

We have had the opportunity to try a few hotels in Jasper and this was by far our new #1! Rooms are larger then others. Stayed in a room with 2 doubles. Mini fridge and a safe. Sink on the inside and outside of the bathroom so your not tripping on eachother. That's always nice! Heated underground parking. The pool... More
