We are frequent visitors to Jasper but decided this time we wanted to spend our time out of town, Tekarra was the only place available and having compared it to the other similar accommodations I can see why. The cabins are quite dated and rustic compared to other sites available in the area and I can imagine could also be... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 11 in a Miette Cabin. Reception were friendly and efficient. Our cabin was small as we expected - Sofa, Fire, tiny table, hob, sink, fridge, bed and bathroom. Exactly as the photos showed. The fridge and heater in the room is quiet noisy - could do with changing them. Bathroom was newly... More

We stayed in a lodge above the restaurant. The lodge is clean, not that big and has a private bathroom. A 5-10 min walk will put you in the center of Jasper. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast is GREAT!!! We stayed for two nights and if we return to Jasper we would stay here again. More

We enjoyed our comfortable is basically equipped self catering chalet. The location right by the river is excellent to just sit and relax. More

We had just spent two really disappointing and over-priced nights at Patricia Lake Bungalows (same price of $200 per night for far less quality), then a night backcountry at Shovel Pass Lodge, so all we were really looking for was something decent. Then again, we'd just gotten engaged, so something special was in order. Tekarra Lodge blew us away. Fantastic!... More

We booked an Athabasca Cabin (sleeping for 7) at Tekarra for a one-night stay this past August. We were a group of seven (four adults, three children) traveling together. We chose Tekarra based on reviews here, tour book advice, and their availability of the large cabin. The setting is, truly, spectacular. The lodge is located outside the town proper, but... More

Thank you Tekerra Lodge for a very enjoyable weekend. The service we experienced was second to none. Cabins are clean and cozy. We had a bar-b-que delivered to our cabin on Saturday. Briqettes were available at the office and everything else we could have needed. Staff are friendly and accomodating for our every need. Great time was had by all... More

We recently spent the weekend at Tekarra Lodge, inviting my mother and father in law to join us. We also extended an invitation for our friends to come to Jasper and stay at Tekarra Lodge as well. Both cabins were clean, comfortably furnished, and rusticallly quaint with basic kitchen amenities, which provide the opportunity to cook and eat in. (There... More

The rooms are cozy with a rustic feel. There are no TV's but honestly we did not miss it. Great to read a book and wander the grounds. I prefer this to a hotel in town. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, aren't looking for a 5 star this is a great choice. This is... More

The location is lovely and the staff are great but thats it the lodges are so old not rustic damp cold and smelly the bed was a campbed and the bedding makes me itch just thinking about it for the price you pay to stay here its a joke reminds me of a butlins holiday camp. More
