My teen-aged daughter and I stayed here for a week in a wonderful 800 sq foot room with two beds, a huge bathroom/tub, a shower, a sitting area. The room was clean and comfortable and our hostess, Deirdre, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Lovely breakfasts; wonderful location; great value, given the cost of hotels in... More

I stayed in Twin Gables and did not enjoy it at all. I had the attic room. It was so claustrophobic and literally no space to move at all because it had so much furniture around. The ceiling is slanted and so low that you had to be careful not to hit your head. The worst thing about this B&B... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Twin Gables Bed and Breakfast. Oddly enough your review has come on April Fool’s Day, 10 months after your stay. After 12 years in business and over 800 guests a year at least 300 a year have stayed in the room with the opening skylight. As innkeepers, none of us want guests... More

We stopped off here on our way in and out of Canada and the most wonderful stay here. The lady of the house was a perfect host making us very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed and where to go etc. The room was full of beautiful antique furniture and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfasts... More

I was fortunate to stay at the Twin Gables B&B for my Niece's wedding with the family. The owner and hostess Deidre was charming and very gracious. She made each of us feel very welcome. It was so pleasant to stay where you felt comfortable going downstairs in your robe and slippers for an early morning coffee in the sun... More

We stayed a few nights at Twin Gables during Stampede. If you want to enjoy the fun on the Stampede grounds and in the city, the B&B is very well located. Both are within 20-25 minutes walking distance. The house has definitely character. But we found it so stuffed with knickknacks (tapestry, magazines, plants, etc.), that it appeared a bit... More

We stayed here recently for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon, and we loved it. The host Deidre is very friendly, and has paid attention to the detail you look for in excellent B&Bs. The room was very spacious and plush, with a very comfy king size bed, large TV with video and DVD players, fridge, leather recliners and... More

Everything we hoped for and more. We are so glad we diverted from the standard hotel routine and stayed with Deirdre and Henry at Twin Gables. Not only were they excellent hosts, we felt like we were at home in all regards. From the moment we arrived they were helpful in every way beginning with an excellent restaurant tip within... More

On a recent trip to attend a conference in Calgary, I decided that I wanted to pair "business with pleasure" by choosing a B&B close to where my 2 day function was being held. Imagine my surprise when I found that not only would staying at Twin Gables allow me to park the car and walk to my event, but... More

Second time at Twin Gables. I think of it as a boutique hotel. So comfortable. This trip I came from a nice chain hotel in Montreal to Twin Gables and it felt so much more comfortable. I love everything about it. But here's what made this stay exceptional. I needed a cab to take me to a business meeting at... More

What a lovely stay we had! The location of Twin Gables is very convenient and the house is lovely. The accommodations are superb and the breakfasts were very tasty. The staff did all they could to cater to whatever we needed. It was a very pleasant trip overall and I would recommend Twin Gables to a friend. Thanks for the... More
