Had a lovely weekend at White House Farm, the accommodation was excellent, with every comfort. Mary was lovely and welcoming her breakfasts were gorgeous and very filling with home made bread, fresh fruit and large cooked breakfast . The evening meals were fantastic. Will stay again. This is my second year at this lovely B&B run by charming Mrs Mary Walsh. She is a very friendly and amenable lady always eager to help. The room (I stayed in self contained studio annex both times) was very comfortable, clean and well appointed including an attached bathroom, kitchenette, dining area/ table and a sitting area with TV. We enjoyed two fabulous nights at White House Farm over Easter 2012. Mary & Tim couldn't have made us feel more welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were delicious (and very filling!) and we particularly enjoyed the full English breakfast. On Easter day itself Mary left out Easter eggs for us, a lovely gesture. We stayed in... More

White House Farm is a handsome, well-converted 17th Century farmhouse and barn which compares with similar B&B’s costing a lot more. Anyone can convert an old character property but its what you put in it that counts for the visitor. This one is tastefully filled with Edwardian furniture and other delights, and a large helping of genuine hospitality which does... More

I first stayed with Mary and Tim 3 years ago so on my return I was wondering how it would be second time around. I'd remembered a very welcoming stay. On arrival Mary had tea and cake for me and dinner on that first night was very welcome. Breakfasts are great not just the English Breakfast but a bowl of... More

This was my second stay with Mary and Tim and it was like being with old friends right from the start. Last summer was my first trip away on my own and I was naturally quite anxious. However, Mary is so welcoming and obliging and nothing is too much trouble. She prepares wonderful breakfasts, lunches and delicious evening meals -... More

We recently stayed with Mary as we were attending the Thursford Collection. I can honestly say it was a most enjoyable stay. The food was delicious - home made bread with breakfast and tea and home made cake on arrival. The personal touches were very much appreciated by us. I had an accident a couple of weeks prior to our... More

This is the second time we have stayed with Mary at the White House in the annexe. Greeted with coffee and home made cake its just like visiting family, she makes you so welcome. We travel down to Norfolk for the Thursford Christmas show each year and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else now. It's the best of both worlds...... More
