After 3 months traveling around India, this place was definitely the highlight of our trip. The lodge is gorgeous (and squeaky clean), the food is fantastic, the 7 tribal women that look after you are beautiful, the area is stunning, the villages very interesting and best of all, the host, Leon, is a gem! He goes out of his way to... More

Chandoori Sai Guest House, Goudaguda, Orissa India is truly in its villages and more so in its tribal belt. One such village is Goudaguda, at an altitude of 3000 feet, and home to a thriving pottery community. Goudaguda is half way between Semiliguda and Rayagada in the high altitude area of Orissa. Enter this village and make your way through... More

Forget about the creepy tribal market visits... Everything is there ! Food, warm staff, nice handicraft, nature, friendly villagers... Leon, the creator of this beautiful place will show you nice places in the surroundings. I was supposed to stay only one night and changed my plan to stay another one. More

This place felt like it came out of a dream. After several days of semi-rough travelling in the tribal areas of Orissa, I landed in this little peice of paradise hidden inside a tiny village in the middle of nowhere. I was presented with a fresh (and safe) cup of passionfruit juice and then, like a gift from the heavens,... More

While there are not much reasons left for many visitors to many visiting places in the world there was much of it to return to Goudaguda , a tiny village in the lap of nature in Laxmipur block of Koraput district . Thanks to the rich experience in Chandoori Sai guest house in the outskirts of the tiny village .... More

Can only confirm what others have said. We recently stayed for 4 days with our 11 year old son. Lovely place to stay in the heart of rural India. Very relaxing and quiet - Leon is happy to arrange trips to local villages and markets or one can walk across the fields to the Monday market at Kakirigumma. The local... More

Visited this time with my partner and she was just wacked out about the place. Big hits were home made pasta and bread. Good to catch up with the owner again and most of the people in the village remembered me! More
